Hempler began working at Dunn Lumber in June 2019 as a Receiving/Inside Sales Representative, and in April 2020 he was promoted to Assistant General Manager. He had almost two decades of experience in the lumber and home-improvement business prior to joining the team.
Jeff Wienen, Inventory Coordinator at Spahn & Rose Dubuque, has been a Spahn & Rose employee for seven years. He began his career at Spahn & Rose as a driver, then worked in the warehouse, becoming Warehouse Foreman before moving into his role as Inventory Coordinator.
“I love what I’m doing, and I’m glad I started at the bottom,” Wienen says. “My favorite thing about working at Spahn & Rose is the environment with all the employees. I like the challenge of keeping the inventory at the right level, the challenge of making sure the inventory numbers are correct and the challenge of getting product to our customers in a timely manner.”
